Today the 2nd year Port and Shipping Management class visited the Berbera port. The students were welcomed to the port by a team from DP World staff and were taken through all the most important departments of the port including:
- Operations
- Gate Operations
- New Container Terminal
- General Cargo Terminal
- Customer Service and Documentation
- Mechanical & Technical
At each department the DP World staff helpfully explained their functions and roles, giving the students valuable insight into how a port operates.
