Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Logistics and Supply Chain (SC) Management is one of the key drivers of economic development and growth in the developing world. Effective organisation and management of businesses is, therefore, important in realising rapid economic progress. The development of this curriculum has benefited from a broad array of stakeholders including managers of logistics and SC firms, and graduates with similar backgrounds. The programme is structured to prepare students to cope with some of the recent developments and trends in both the national and global economies.

Furthermore, the programme reflects the current thinking and direction in similar programmes by contemporary universities in the region and world-wide. The purpose of this curriculum is to produce graduate students who will contribute to the national economic development by applying the skills learned during the programme to real life logistics and SC management situations. This is done by totally immersing students into the logistics and SC management environment during training. Students that go through this unique programme learn the theory behind success in logistic and SC management while, at the same time, acquiring practical work experience to prepare them for the responsibilities that await them in the industry.
